Our Review

Shopacheck is trading name of an established financial company Welcome Finance, who provide a variety of financial services. Their loan product is different from the other companies' in the sense that they allow up to 50 installments for a £500 loan. The interest is calculated based on a APR of 254.5%. The website is silent about any requirement of faxes etc. Loan money is transferred to the account only after 24 hours. Users please be advised that a small loan for such a long duration at this rate of interest may prove to be very expensive.

They stated that when you apply for the loan and if approved you have to go to one of their offices and fill out more forms. Then on repayment they visit your home for repayment over 50 weeks. I provisionally asked about a loan of £450, and stated that I would be able to pay it back within the month. They said I would have to pay back £875, which is more about 2999% interest. Sorry no! reply
